Nominate Someone Excellent

By September 14, 2021News

The Yerba Buena Community Excellence Awards are issued yearly at the Annual Meeting and serve to highlight those who show outstanding participation in improving our neighborhood. Because of the events this year and the restraints that do not permit the usual participation, we are going to refocus the guidelines for which we previously considered applicants which included cleaning, neighborhood events and beautification, and in general activities that required a great deal of interaction and contact which were not permissible for the better part of this year.

Instead we would like to consider candidates who have excelled in the following areas:

  • Adaptation: how well an individual or organization has reorganized its efforts to help the community
  • Service: how an individual or organization has helped to serve those devastated by the social and economic impact of COVID 19
  • Engagement: how an individual or organization has made, somehow, this situation bearable either through programming or engagement or even entertainment

If you are or know someone who would be a candidate for this award, please fill out this form and get it back to us by October 30th by email to
