YERBA BUENA STREET PLAN UPDATE IS UNDERWAY: IDEAS WANTED!

The YBCBD is revamping its Yerba Buena Street Life Plan of projects both large and small to improve the neighborhood’s pedestrian experience, alleys, and streets and open spaces. Whether you live, work or play in the neighborhood, your ideas matter. There are several opportunities for you to weigh in on the public realm improvements you’d like to see in Yerba Buena.

Drop-In, Tell Us What You Think: April 16 – April 19. Drop-in 11am – 2pm at the Annex at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, 701 Mission Street. No appointment needed. Just stop by. Learn about potential changes to the neighborhood and let us know your thoughts.

Walk with us! Take a Walking Tour to reimagine neighborhood streets and public spaces. Join YBCBD staff and our design team on one or both walking tours:

  • Day Walk – Tuesday, April 17, 9:30-11am, Meet at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, 701 Mission Street, RSVP to Peter Winch, pwinch@wrtdesign.com.

Public Open House at SFMOMA– April 19, 5pm – 8pm, SFMOMA Atrium, 151 Third Street. The YBCBD and the design team will share ideas we’ve heard and developed to help make Yerba Buena an even better place. This is an exciting opportunity at SFMOMA to help us develop our final plan. Drop in to share your thoughts. Light refreshments will be provided.

The YBCBD has funded and partnered with other organizations to add public art, artist-design bike racks, plaza and streetscape improvements and more in the neighborhood. Help us imagine the kinds of improvements you’d like to see in the years to come.IDEAS WANTED!
