Introduction
Amazing things happen when we work together. The YBCBD provides grants through our Community Benefit Fund twice a year to neighborhood nonprofits for initiatives that improve our district’s vitality and that support our goals. We fund family programs, public art projects and cultural exhibits, public safety programs, and much more. Each year, we typically give about $155,000 in grants ranging from $5,000-$25,000. From 2010-2020, the YBCBD provided more than 185 grants totaling nearly $1.7 million to 45 neighborhood organizations.

Application Information
We adapted our approach and guidelines for the Community Benefit Fund to address impacts from the pandemic to our daily lives, neighborhood and economy. For Fiscal Year 2020-2021, we are providing grants specifically to nonprofits headquartered in our district to address challenges resulting from the pandemic. We will have our application available here when the next round of funding becomes available.
